“WIN Cairns is excited to be working with Mount Sheridan Plaza to discover Cairns’ Young Newsreader for 2017. Our Local News team has been reporting on the events that affect Cairns and the Far North for more than 20 years. We see Cairns’ Young Newsreader as a great initiative to help the next generation of journalists get a taste for this exciting profession. The winner will work closely with our Cairns journalists and experience what happens behind the scenes, as we put together a local news bulletin that is all about the Far North.” Says Alan Henwood Station Manager
