Check In at the Plaza
From 9 July 2021, the Queensland Government is asking people to Check In when visiting particular services and venues including shopping centres to support contact tracing efforts.
There are 2 ways to Check In when visiting Mount Sheridan Plaza – by using the Check In Qld app, or by using paper Check In forms.
You only need do one method, every time you visit, however we strongly recommend shoppers use the app over paper forms.
1. Check In using the Check In Qld app:
Download the free Check In Qld app on your device and register your details. Each time you visit the Plaza, simply scan a Mount Sheridan Plaza QR Code on the poster (located at all of our Entry/Exits points, on InfoPods outside The Coffee Club and Alive Pharmacy, and in the Food Court) and click “Check In Now”. You can also add in the details of additional people entering with you, such as children.
Some retailers are also required to have their own QR Codes. Please scan retailer’s QR Codes when entering these stores as this will provide contact tracers with more accurate data should they need it. Some retailers may be able to enter your details into the app on their own store device for you by using the Business Mode feature.
Check In Qld app data and your privacy: Read about the Check In Qld app and your privacy here. You have the right to access personal information that is collected about you and can update incorrect, incomplete or out-of-date personal information. 2. Paper Check In:
If you cannot, or do not wish to use the app, paper Check In forms are provided at 3 locations in Centre outside Kmart, Coles and Woolworths. Once completed, forms are to be placed inside the barrels provided.
Paper Check In and your privacy: We will be abiding by the Queensland Government’s rules regarding data collection and privacy, so all forms will be transferred into an electronic system within 24 hours of collection and kept electronically for a period of no less than 30 days and no more than 56 days (unless otherwise specified) in the case they are requested by contact tracers. Data will not be accessed by or used by Mount Sheridan Plaza for any other purpose.
