My Little Orchid

Do you have a child aged 6+ who would love to learn about growing orchids? At our My Little Orchid activity, volunteers from the North Queensland Orchid Society will show children how to mount an orchid seedling onto a small tree branch cutting for them to take home. Children can also enter the orchid colouring in competition for their chance to win 1 of 3 $50 gift cards to spend at Kmart.
This event will be held every morning from September 25-29 in Centre Court from 9.3am-10.30am.
This is a walk-in-only event for the first 50 children aged 6 and over per day.
All materials will be supplied and an adult must accompany children participating in the workshop to provide assistance. Please note that groups (eg. day cares, after-school care) can not be catered to.
