NAIDOC Week is celebrated not only in Aboriginal communities but by Australians from all walks of life. This year’s NAIDOC Week theme is ‘Heal Country!’, which recognises that Country and our cultural heritage is the essence of who we are.

To celebrate the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples — Mount Sheridan Plaza, located on Yidinjdji land — is kicking off NAIDOC Week a day early on July 3, and is giving families a great Saturday of free activities and entertainment.

From 9:30am-12:30pm in Centre Court:

  • Wooden boomerang decorating
  • Wooden Australian animal decorating
  • NAIDOC Week colouring activity

From 9:00am-1:00pm outside Kmart:

  • Kid’s Jumping Castle
  • Face Painting

This is a FREE event, no bookings are required.  Children must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.
