Orchid Society Flower Show

| Members of the Tropical Queensland Orchid Society will be in at Mount Sheridan Plaza in Centre Court with their annual Flower Show from 6-8 of May. There will be hundreds of spectacular orchids for sale, and Society members on hand with advice, potting demonstrations, and to judge their annual orchid competition.
The show consists of several displays by societies and growers, as they prepare their orchids for judging and give consumers the best quality plants to purchase. This is an event that has grown in popularity and attracts orchid vendors and orchid lovers from interstate as well as from within Queensland. Novice members appreciate having the opportunity to see first-hand how long-serving members grow their orchids. You can purchase spectacular orchids in time for Mother’s Day, however last year the Orchid Society SOLD OUT or orchids, so we recommend you get in early for the best selection. The last day of the event, Sunday May 8 is also Market Day, so between 9am-3pm there will be dozens of stalls throughout the Centre full to the brim with locally made, grown and produced items for sale. There will be free entertainment with Flip Ripley from 9:30am-12:30pm for children. |
