The Cairns Children’s Museum is bringing the Museum to you highlighting National Science Week (August 15-23)! This year’s theme is “The Deep Blue”. Please join us this Sunday August 16 for COVID safe activities in centre court.
Enjoy talks, demonstrations by CCM, Turtle Rehab Centre and Cairns Auqarium and activities for the whole family!
The kick off event will be held on Sunday, August 16th from 10 am -4 pm. In addition, there will be some self-guided activities including a scavenger hunt available throughout the week, as well as structured activities on Tuesday (August 18) and Thursday (August 20).

Each session will run for ~ 45 min will include an introduction (story, experiment, short video) and a related activity- which can be completed at tables (getting wiped down after each person leaves) or taken to do at home.
50 packs available for each activity.
Social distancing to be adhered to- sign in for anyone who sits down
Cairns Children’s Museum (CCM) is a not for profit organisation, registered
with the Australian Charities and Not- for- profits Commission (ACNC).
CCM operates as a “mobile museum” organising STEAM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) events for children and families.
