Did you know that every purchase you make at Flower Power helps support locals facing cancer?

Located opposite Kmart at Mt Sheridan Plaza, Flower Power is more than just a beautiful gift and craft store — it’s a community initiative making a real difference. It is the ONLY store of its kind in Australia as a Cancer Council community supporter store, with 100% of all proceeds going directly to supporting our local cancer accommodation facility, Marylyn Mayo Lodge. This means every purchase and donation made in store goes directly to those needing accommodation, transport, and support while undergoing treatment.

The store is filled with handmade crafts, gifts, and unique treasures lovingly created and donated by a passionate team of volunteers. Flower Power also stocks thoughtful items for cancer patients, including comfortable head scarves, and other practical support items.

During Christmas and Mother’s Day, the team also offers beautiful gift wrapping services, helping shoppers add a special touch to their presents while supporting a meaningful local cause at the same time. They also partake in Cancer Council Queensland’s national keystone fundraising events; Daffodil Day and Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.
