Participation and Agreement
By entering this competition, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions. All entries must comply with the stated requirements to be valid.

Eligibility
Age and Residency: Open to individuals aged 18 years or older who are residents of Cairns.
Personal Entry Only: Participants are allowed to enter only on their behalf. Organsations (eg. schools) ordering on behalf of students are excluded.
Exclusions: Employees of any business operating within Mt Sheridan Plaza are not eligible to participate.

    Competition Period
    The competition will run from January 2 – 27 2025.

    Prize Details
    5 winners will each receive a $200 EFTPOS Gift Card. The total prize pool is $1000.

    How to Enter
    To participate, submit a school supply order with Newspower Mt Sheridan Plaza to the value of $100 or more during the competition period. All eligible persons placing an order will go in the draw. Orders can be placed online, via email, or in person with Newspower Mt Sheridan.

    General Terms and Conditions

    1. Entry Requirements: Entries must meet all specified conditions to be eligible.
    2. Promoter’s Discretion: The Promoter reserves the right to:
      • Verify participants’ age, identity, and residency.
      • Disqualify entrants providing false or incomplete information.
      • Reject incomplete, illegible, or late entries.
    3. Privacy: By entering, participants consent to the use of their personal information for conducting the competition and announcing the winner (using first name and surname initial only).
    4. Prize Draw: Winners will be randomly selected by the Manager of Newspower Mt Sheridan from valid entries submitted and the end of the competition period.
    5. Final Decision: The Promoter’s decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entertained.
    6. Winner Notification: The Promoter will take reasonable steps to notify winners and ensure prize collection.
    7. Prize Collection: Winners must collect their prize in person from Centre Management. No prizes will be mailed or delivered.
    8. Identity Verification: Winners may be required to provide proof of identity and eligibility.
    9. Prize Conditions:
      • Prize is subject to third party T&Cs. For information, see the gift card provider’s website listed on the back of the card.
      • Prize winners must sign a Prize Form upon collection of the gift card.
    10. Liability and Risk:
      • The Promoter is not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of prizes after they have been awarded.
      • Winners accept all risks associated with the use of their prize and agree to release the Promoter from liability.
    11. Photographs: Winners may be requested to provide a photograph with their prize for promotional purposes, with no compensation provided.
    12. Australian Consumer Law: Prizes may include guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. The Promoter excludes liability for any loss, damage, or injury beyond what is required by law.
    13. Changes to the Competition: The Promoter reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition without prior notice.
