Explore the thrilling realm of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) through Cairns Children’s Museum’s engaging, hands-on workshops.
Each month features a new theme to spark creativity and curiosity in young minds, making learning both fun and interactive.
Wonder Wednesday is when we put on our lab coats and dive into the world of science and experimentation. These sessions emphasise problem-solving skills, as children predict,
observe, and learn through exciting experiments and scientific activities. It’s a perfect blend of fun and education, fostering a love for discovery and critical thinking.
Guided workshops run from 9.30 am – 10.15 am, followed by open play sessions from 10.30 am – 12 pm.
Cost: $15/child for the workshop (including open play session), and $5.50/child just for open play session only (when paying by card, $5 cash).
Designed for children aged 5 and under, but welcoming to all ages, our workshops provide a lively and engaging setting where learning becomes an exciting journey.
