Search Begins for Burger Champions
To celebrate and launch Apex Milk Bar Express opening their doors Mount Sheridan Plaza, Mount Sheridan Plaza are holding a Burger Eating Contest held in the food court. The quest to find Cairn’s Burger Champion is on and will showcase talent across 4 categories that entrants can choose from:
Beat the Beat – The quickest of 10 contestant’s to eat 2 burgers with 2 levels of varying heat
The Full Deal – The first of 10 contestant’s to consume a Burger, Small Fries and 35ml drink
The Big Boy Challenge – The first of 5 contestant’s to consume the most of the Big Boy Challenge Burger in a 15 minute time period
Down the Dog – The first of 10 contestant’s (12 years-17-years) to consume 2 Apex Hotdogs in the quickest time
This is the first eating competition Mount Sheridan Plaza have held which officially kicks off February 24 at 11:00am. The nomination period will close at 10:00am Saturday February 24 an hour before the competition begins. To qualify and to participate in Beat the Burger all participants must register ad sign the indemnity form.

Our goal is to create a fun and entertaining environment and showcase the incredible range of burger options at Apex Milk Bar Express. “Entrants are asked to pay a $10 registration fee, which will go directly to Edmonton Men’s Shed” Says Kay Judd Marketing Manager
In order to recognize the great range of burgers at Apex Milk Bar Express, Mount Sheridan Plaza are encouraging people of Cairns to nominate a person they think could take on the challenge for the title.
