Halloween is such a fun time of year, though organising a costume can be a little time-consuming and often costly! Here is our handy list of easy kid’s Halloween costumes that you can make at home that won’t break the bank while still looking amazing.
Grandparents – The hardest part would be the teensy walking frame, though the costume still looks amazing without it. You can attach large cotton balls to a scarf to get the old woman hair look. Make sure those glasses don’t actually have any lenses in them though!
Scuba Diver – As far as simple costumes go, this Jr. Scuba Diver idea is really easy to make and looks amazing! The base of this outfit is just long sleeve black beanie paired alongside their snorkelling google and flippers. And two painted soft drink bottles for the air tanks and you got a cute scuba diver costume!
One of the best parts about Halloween is the chance to dress up! Whether you’re the type who counts down the days until Halloween or the sort who rushes out to buy lollies an hour before sundown, it’s never too early to start planning the costumes.
A night out, scary costumes, and free candy – it’s no wonder Halloween is an event kids of all ages beg to partake in! We’re getting into the wicked spirit of things here at the Plaza with our huge, free Spooktacular Halloween Trick or Treat Hunt on Wednesday October 31st , 3 to 6pm.
We’re inviting all families of frightening creatures to come dressed in your scariest attire and join us for a Trick or Treat Hunt and enjoy some devilish fun with candy stations, jumping castles, face painters, roving scary characters, balloon twisting, a best dressed competition, a witch hunt activity, a Halloween photo booth and lots more. There will be lots of great prizes up for grabs too!
To ensure the safety of all the little monsters who come along, we ask that all children, regardless of age, are accompanied by an adult.
Register for your Spooktacular Passports at centre court from 3pm.
