Community Hub & Book Exchange

Mt Sheridan Plaza’s Community Hub is a place where shoppers can take some time out to relax or catch up with others. There’s comfy seating, free daily newspapers, and wall puzzles and books for children to enjoy. The Community Hub is also the home of our very popular free Book Exchange, a community-run initiative running solely on donations and returns from our community of avid readers. The motto is, “Take, swap, donate!”, and it all works on an honesty system, with all items supplied by our community of avid readers for the enjoyment of other avid readers. There’s always a wide range of fiction to choose from, plus we often have non-fiction and magazines added to the shelves. If you have items to donate, we ask that you drop them into the box outside Centre Management.
