Creating Curious Minds these School Holidays

From Monday June 27 until Friday July 8, RESTA (Reptile Education Safety Training Australia) and Artist Dennis Massaud from Sand In Your Eyes Sand Sculptures will entertain curious and creative minds at Mount Sheridan Plaza these June/July School Holidays.

RESTA will get kids ready for a cool adventure as children explore their way through the crazy world of reptiles. Discover and get up close and personal with thrilling interactive presentations, featuring a range of snakes, lizards, crocodiles and all your favourite creepy crawlies guaranteed to delight every member of the audience!

Families will learn how to identify different types of reptiles and invertebrates, learn what to wear, conservation, environmental information and most importantly fun facts with shows from June 27-2 July daily from 9am-3pm.

Be sure to book your free microscope session daily at 9am, 10am, 11am and 12noon, children are invited to bring along their own item to view close up.

Sand In Your Eyes presents “a fire breathing dragon” in this sensory experience at the Plaza!

This limited-time adventure is open from Monday July 4 through to Friday July 8. The exhibit will transport you as you discover the wonder and excitement of the magic and mythology when dreams come true brought to life in incredible, intricate sand sculptures.

In addition, enjoy Sand Sculpture workshops for adults and children alike. In the specially designed lessons, Dennis will guide children step by step building basic structures. After which they are encouraged to put these skills to use, unlock their creativity in the sand and bring their own ideas to life.

Daily 40 minute Workshops at 10am, 11am, 12noon, and 1pm.
