Eat Street – Re Branded Outdoor Dining Precinct

SOUTHSIDE shoppers don’t have to travel far to get a taste of authentic international foods from around the globe.

Mount Sheridan Plaza’s all-new outdoor dining precinct – the aptly named ‘Eat Street’ – brings a fresh array of delicious dining options to Cairns’ southern suburbs, with cuisines including Japanese favourites, meaty Turkish wraps and a fusion of Asian street food and barbecue.

XO BBQ combines their culinary skills with an expert blend of market-fresh herbs, spices and local produce to create sublime Asian sensations and healthy dishes. The artful balance of flavours ensures an exciting, comforting and downright delicious meal.

At Kebab Zone,  kebabs are “made how you like it”. Enjoy your kebab toasted or fresh, or with homemade tzatziki or traditional hummus – it’s up to you.

With a vast range of different sauces to add, including homemade favourites like garlic, hummus, satay, honey mustard and more, you can be creative and really tantalise your tastebuds. If you’re feeling naughty, grab some freshly made Turkish delight or scrumptious baklava.

Alongside these eateries are well-known favourites Sushi Train and The Coffee Club.

Sushi Train’s top-quality rolls are made fresh daily, with a variety of traditional sushi including nigiri and inari, as well as hot food choices.

While at The Coffee Club, shoppers can enjoy an array of food and beverage in a cafe-style environment.

Mount Sheridan Plaza marketing and customer experience manager Kay Judd says the centre is excited about the new dining hub offering.

“Eat Street has been created to provide a revitalised dining experience to the locals in the area,” she says.

“It’s the perfect place to get together with family and friends, offering a diverse range of dining options  for great celebrations, intimate dinners or casual beverage.

“The amazing new restaurants are also staying open until late,  beyond our centre’s normal trading hours.”
