Sandscapes – A children’s sand art and science workshop

Looking for an exciting and creative activity for your children to do in the school holidays? Bring them along to Sandscapes where they can can dive into a world of sand art and immersive play!

Here’s what’s in store:

Sand Art Creations:
Children can let their imaginations run wild as they create beautiful artwork using colorful sand.

Augmented Reality Sandbox:
Experience the magic of an interactive sandbox that brings creations to life using augmented reality. Children can build landscapes, watch them transform, and learn about topography and ecosystems.

Kinetic Sand “Beach”:
Children can get hands-on with kinetic sand, which is easy to shape and mold, perfect for building sandcastles and other fun structures.

Drop in any time on July 2, 3 & 4 between 9:30am-12:30pm in Cairns Children’s Museum’s space near Kmart. FREE, no bookings, parental supervision is required.
