Mt Sheridan Plaza is set to host the North Queensland Orchid Society’s Orchid Show from May 10th to 12th in Centre Court.

Attendees will get an up-close look at over 100 stunning orchids from the region in full bloom. Growers from across North Queensland will showcase their finest specimens, while expert judges from around the state will gather on Friday morning to crown the top orchids. These winning orchids will remain on display throughout the weekend for all to admire.

Throughout the three-day event, orchids, including seedlings and plants, will be available for purchase. Some of the most exceptional orchids will be featured as prizes in the raffle. With Mother’s Day falling on the Sunday of the event, it’s a prime opportunity to find a special gift for Mum.

Society members will be present daily to answer questions and offer expert advice on orchid care, ensuring long-lasting blooms, and two free live demonstrations taking place on Saturday at 11am (Potting) and 11:30am (Mounting). No bookings are required.
