DURATION OF COMPETITION

This promotion will commence in August when the display is established on the mall and ends at 12 noon Thursday, August 31, 2023.

ELIGIBILITY

Entry is open to residents aged 18 and over living in Cairns. Cassowary Coast, and Tablelands Regional Council catchment areas.

Persons working at Mount Sheridan Plaza are ineligible to enter.

Participants can only enter on their own behalf, with a maximum of 1 entry per day.

Entering details of another person will deem the entry as void.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter, scan the QR code at the display and complete the online form. No proof of spend is required. You can enter more than one time, however, only one of your entries submitted will be added to the draw.

GENERAL TERMS AND PRIZE COLLECTION

The first 2 entries drawn at random that meet all eligibility requirements will be the winners, however, if the Promoter is unable to make contact with the winners after 2 business days, then the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will redraw and continue in this fashion until a winner is found. The Promoter’s decision is final and conclusive and no comment or correspondence will be entered into.

Winners are required to show photo ID as proof of identity when collecting the prize. All winners are required to sign the Promoter’s Prize form. The prize must be collected from Mt Sheridan Plaza during business hours within 2 weeks of notification.

The Promoter will not be involved any further regarding the prize. Any questions and issues are to be directed to the prize supplier, Cairns Hardware, Edmonton. The prize is not refundable and cannot be exchanged for other items. Winners will be provided with a delivery docket in case a warranty or service is required.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss, accident, or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to) direct or consequential loss or for personal injury as a result of the prize.

The winner must make himself/herself available for a photo if required by the Promoter. The Promoter has the right to use photos for promotional purposes without compensation to the winner. Entrants acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to publicise and publish his/her name on social media. Usually, this entails first name, or first name and initial as to the full name of the winner in order to protect privacy.

The Promoter will handle your personal information in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act. Your information will not be shared with any third party, and you have the right to request your information be removed after the competition has ended, and can easily opt out of marketing communications at any time.
